What is the expected life span of the turf?
Since the wear and tear will be on the top 1/16th of the fibres the turf should virtually last forever, as long as periodic maintenance is done to the surface.
How much will we save on maintenance costs?
With no irrigation required, no fuel, no mower costs, no pesticide or chemical costs, no lawn service fees, etc. you can expect your lawn to pay for itself within 3-4 years! A comparison of real grass versus fake grass costs, shows fake grass as a long-term investment pays for itself easily.
Is the turf maintenance free?
19th Hole Turf is 99% maintenance free. Just keep the turf clean either by blowing or sweeping off debris...

Does the turf come with a warranty?
Yes. We have one of the best warranties in the business.
Do you back-up your workmanship?
Yes. Along with the turf warranty we offer a two year warranty on our work.
Can turf be installed over an existing lawn?
No, no the existing material must be removed and a gravel and sand base installed as the landscape turf drains water through the surface with drain holes manufactured into the turf.
Will snow affect the surface?
No. Turf has been installed in some of the most harshest climates including the north and south poles. As a matter a fact while the local golf course may be closed due to frost or snow you can simply broom off the surface and play.
Will the sun or dry weather affect the surface?
No. The turf is u.v. treated, There are hundreds of turf surfaces installed in the desert areas of North America.
What happens to the turf in heavy rains?
Water will drain off the surface as all of our greens have positive drainage, including drain sleeves added to the holes so water will not drain through the turf thus compromising the sub-base.
Is the turf effected by mold, mildew or rot?
No, the turf is backed by a urethane base which prevents this even in very wet climates.
Is everything included?
Yes. All accessories needed are included in the final price.
Are green sizes limited?
No. We can install to suit your needs.
Can we have undulations?
Yes. Your imagination is your only limitation! We can also install multi-tiered greens.
What is the stimp speed of the greens?
Green speed can be varied by simply adding or applying less of our infill sands to the turf. Typically upon installation the greens can run between 10-12 on a stimp meter.
Can we chip on to the green?
Yes. All of the greens will accept a shot on to the green from various distances. This is why we have such a large inventory of turf. We can supply what you need for the intended use.
Can we have undulations?
Yes. Your imagination is your only limitation! We can also install multi-tiered greens.
What about adding a sand bunker?
A bunker makes a nice addition to your green. We can design to fit your needs.
Can we install the turf on our own?
While you could install a turf on your own, we recommend our professional installation services which are warrantied and hassle free. Putting Green turfs are generally custom installs which generally require our experience and knowledge to be installed properly.
